This page applies to everyone on the premises at or around 22 King Street, Mount Holly, NJ 08060, including but not limited to: paying spectators / audience, invited guests, trainees / students, performers (wrestlers, referees, managers, ringside crew, announcers), production staff, volunteers, and any third-party promotion or school renting or using this facility for training, seminars, classes, tapings, or live events.
Live professional wrestling is a contact performance. Action can occur in and around the ring and near the audience. There may be sudden physical motion, falls, stunts, loud sounds, intense lighting, and emotionally energized crowd behavior. By attending or remaining in the building, you voluntarily assume all risks of injury, illness, emotional distress, or property damage connected to viewing or being near the action.
New Jersey courts generally recognize that clearly disclosed inherent risks in a voluntary recreational/spectator setting can be assumed by the attendee, and that normal negligence can be contractually limited, but gross negligence or reckless conduct cannot be waived (N.J.S.A. §2A:15-5.1 et seq.; N.J.S.A. §2A:42A-2 et seq.; Sports & Recreation Law Association, 2022).
Training for and participating in professional wrestling, including drills, conditioning, practice matches, bumps, strikes, throws, running the ropes, promo work, ring crew, setup/tear-down, or any in-ring / ringside / backstage / warm-up activity, is physically demanding and dangerous.
By training here, performing here, assisting ringside, refereeing, or otherwise entering any “non-spectator” area, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily engaging in an activity with a known and substantial risk of serious injury or death. You confirm that you are medically able to participate and that you accept full personal responsibility for your own safety, conditioning, gear, ring awareness, and conduct.
You also acknowledge that you are not an employee of Pro Wrestling Star Academy unless you have a separate written agreement stating otherwise. You are responsible for your own medical insurance and medical costs. Independent talent and trainees in New Jersey are commonly treated as participants who assume the ordinary dangers of training and performance, with liability limited except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct (Sports & Recreation Law Association, 2022; N.J.S.A. §2A:15-5.1 et seq.).

This mirrors standard New Jersey independent promoter practice: the facility provides space and ring, and the visiting group assumes operational responsibility for its own talent and audience management, subject to the host’s base safety rules (Sports & Recreation Law Association, 2022).
These rules reflect common safety controls in contact-sport / stunt-show venues for crowd management and loss prevention according to independent promoter insurance guidelines (Sports & Recreation Law Association, 2022).
By entering, you understand and agree that your voice, name, likeness, and image may be captured in photo, audio, or video. You grant Pro Wrestling Star Academy a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, broadcast, publish, or distribute that material in any format for promotional, commercial, archival, and creative purposes, with no additional notice or compensation. This is standard practice in New Jersey live performance and combat-sport style events to avoid later publicity-rights claims (Sports & Recreation Law Association, 2022).
You authorize event staff, ringside personnel, and emergency responders to assist you if you appear injured or in distress, and you agree to be financially responsible for any resulting medical treatment. You should inform staff at check-in if you have a condition requiring accommodation or special handling.
Pro Wrestling Star Academy and its Releasees are not liable for injury, illness, death, or property loss arising from your attendance, training, work, volunteer activity, performance, or participation here, except where caused by proven gross negligence or willful misconduct under New Jersey law.
Any dispute must be brought in Burlington County, New Jersey and will be governed solely by the laws of the State of New Jersey. New Jersey law generally enforces venue selection and severability clauses where they are clearly stated in recreational/athletic waivers (Sports & Recreation Law Association, 2022; N.J.S.A. §2A:15-5.1 et seq.).
